JOIN THE PTF LINE GROUP! The PTF (formerly the PTA) has created a LINE group for KCS families to share PTF information. The school may also use this group as another way to communicate emergency information such as red keiho conditions. You can join by sending asking someone who is already a member of the KCS PTF group to send you an invitation through LINE.

COMMUNICATION SURVEYS Thank you for all your responses to the communication survey. The weather emergency we experienced this week underscored the need for a more efficient way to communicate with families. We will use your feedback to improve the communication process.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY: Please remember that Monday, 18th is a school holiday!

SCHOLASTIC BOOK ORDERS:  At KCS we have the opportunity to order books in English from Scholastic. When we order books from Scholastic, KCS gets credit towards free books for the school. Let’s all support KCS by purchasing English books.  The catalogs, along with instructions on how to order, were sent home with your child today.  All orders should be turned in to your homeroom teacher on or before Friday, September 22.  Thank you for helping to make KCS a better learning institution.

KCS LUNCH ORDERS: You have an opportunity to order meals from Kamadoya on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and from GUSTO on Fridays. Please fill out the attached Meal Order form indicating which day you want which meal, and send the exact amount of money in an envelope along with the form. Because of the holiday on Monday next week, orders will be due on Tuesday.

KANSAI CHRISTIAN SCHOOL 2016-2017 YEARBOOKS ARE HERE! The KCS 2016-2017 yearbooks are now available! The yearbook has a beautiful soft cover designed by Yuri Hagimoto, Eddie Ho and Luke Mason as well as many photos of KCS events and some humorous candids. You won’t want to miss owning this piece of KCS history. The yearbook team worked very hard to pull together this wonderful memory book we hope you all will enjoy.

To order your copy of the yearbook, please complete the attached form and return it to Mrs. Clark or Mrs. Chadduck with 1,500 yen.  Hard copies of the order form were also sent home with your children on Friday.

FALL FIELD TRIPS will be on Friday, October 13. There are still seven families who have not yet turned in their Emergency Forms to the office. If the Emergency Forms are not in, the students cannot go on the Field trips. Please turn them in as soon as possible!

Bible Verse of the Week – Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

しかし、御霊の実は、愛、喜び、平和、寛容、慈愛、善意、忠実、柔和、自制であって、これらを否定する律法はない。
