Kansai Christian School (KCS) was established in 1970. The school exists to provide an education in the English language that is committed to an evangelical Christian worldview, and, while being particularly instituted for missionary children, is available for anyone who meets entrance requirements.

The Mission of KCS is: "To glorify God by providing an education that fosters spiritual, social, and intellectual maturity in each student."
